Sentry 10 WP is a New Generation Synthetic Pyrethroid Insecticide that contains Lambda Cyhalothrin as an active ingredient. It is a wettable powder containing 100 gms of the active ingredient in 1000 gms of the formulation. Lambda Cyhalothrin 10% WP has been recommended and approved for usage as a Residual Insecticide against common disease vectors by World Health Organization Pesticide Evaluation Scheme (WHOPES). It is an ideal insecticide for Public Health Programmes. It is indigenously developed, manufactured and marketed by Rallis India Limited.

Method of Treatment | Use conventional hand-operated compression sprayer or stirrup pump commonly used in malaria containment programme by Public Health Agencies. Use a FLATFAN (Aspee 80800) nozzle with 800 swath and a discharge rate of 800 ml per minute Operate the sprayer at 40 psi pressure As Sentry 10 WP has contact action, it is imperative to achieve good coverage of the target area and the pest. Spraying should be done on walls and junctions of wall and flooring. On walls spraying should be done in vertical swaths of 75 cm wide. Swaths should overlap by 5cm. Spray from roof to floor using a downward motion to complete one swath. Step sideways and spray upward from floor to roof. Repeat treatment at 3 -4 month interval. |
